A Leafy Life

Peeping into the world with wings spread wide,
Giving no heed to the life awaiting ahead,
Dancing to the tunes of wind in the bright sunlight,
For the summer is on high, who cares the toil.

None had happy life throughout, think you are no different.
After a prolonged period of happiness,
Don’t know who hurt you so bad,
To hide your tears in the heavy rain.

Being sad for a long period kills one badly,
The advice you didn’t care to take in
Result of which gotten you engulfed by dark clouds even when the sky is clear,
Finally getting yourself killed without enjoying the fall.

Falling apart from the one thing that held you all these days
And getting buried under white snow,
Without enjoying the only thing that you dreamt of these days,
Watching calmly your next generation hopping in the same way you did.

Saddest part in your life is that,
You can’t advise them to not take sadness so close,
Only to see them buried next to you under the same white snow.
Even the god has no way to help you, oh poor green child!
